ReadyMock is a general-purpose mock data generation tool for software testing, application development, and a number of other purposes. ReadyMock allows you to define a data set using realistic fields and data types.

ReadyMock allows you to build composite fields which combine several data types together, for example to build a multi-part address ("123 Main Street Anytown TX 48000") or any other composite field.
ReadyMock is currently in beta status, so please excuse any bugs you find while we continue to roll-out more functionality! You can send bug reports or feature requests to @FunctionFocus.
You can use this tool to build the definition of an arbitrary data set. This means that you can add fields, sort and re-sort fields, select a data type, and configure them all to build the data you need.
A mock generator is built with a set of
fields
. Each field is similar
to a column on a spreadsheet. Fields have a
heading,
relative sequence, and a data type (or a
list of data types).
A field always has at least one data type but possibly several- you might want to concatenate multiple fields together (perhaps to generate an address or a full name).
ReadyMock! is a tool to generate realistic mock data that you can use for a variety of purposes- seeding applications for demos, generating data for testing, etc.
ReadyMock! provides a number of different data type generators that can be used to build your data set. These generators are meant to create data that resembles realistic data
